Cookie monsters suck. Yet everybody seems to want to be one. That's why they overlook the Mobster Trump.

It's the trap of the American Dream. They want their piece when I want my peace. They've seen it is easier to take dishonestly by the very public individuals doing it. They form the belief everyone is like this and act accordingly, becoming what they claim to reject, never able to turn a critical eye toward themselves. The imagined peer pressure of "everyone doing it" is not nearly the same as having a conscience. But it's easier. People who have worked hard their own lives don't consider it an option because it comes from a place of privilege. An upbringing that was pampered where a less pleasant one at least gave the rest of us resilience. The lazy take the easy way out, while accusing those working hardest of being the lazy ones. Once you see the projection, it is comical and cannot be unseen.

Reagan taught us the only thing that trickles down is bullshit. Accountability and honesty are rarely demonstrated or rewarded, and everyone wants that dopamine hit. Some feel entitled to take it without doing the work.

Love the Reagan comment. "Trickle down" is an absolute lie, as is "A rising tide floats all ships." The presumption is that we are stupid, so they are entitled. Ideals of artistry, spirituality, empathy, agape love , patriotism, etc. are "for suckers" according to these degenerates.

A rising tide does raise all ships. The trouble is we are given inflatable rafts they throw spikey anchors on before the tide rolls in ;)
