I regret to inform you everyone will do just exactly as they please at all times. We are all free to do so, and all clouded by our various brainwashings, so it’s bound to be ham-handed. It would behoove us to keep that in mind and show people a little grace.

If you only value people who think and act like you, you aren’t interested in people, you are interested in clones. Not only would the world be incredibly boring, you’d find a reason not to like them either, probably stemming from jealousy.

That’s what bigotry is, in a way. Seeing someone do well for themselves with whatever combination of talents or flaws we each arrive with, when they perhaps have not used their own gifts to their best advantage. In some cases, it’s procrastination, lack of action, and all talk. Sometimes it’s harsh life circumstances beyond their control.

There are systems setting them up for failure, no matter how hard they try. Let’s not forget propaganda constantly shaming you to “keep up,” as a consumer, while our views on carrying debt have softened significantly since the 50s-ish, I think. Robert Reich made a documentary that explained it.

First everyone paid cash. Then a home was fine. Then a major purchase like a car. Then maybe a family vacation, and so on.

Now we use it interchangeably with cash we do not have for a sweet tea at McDonald’s.

That was oddly specific.

Some people double down and work harder to overcome their challenges, to varying success.

Believing everyone is JUST like us can be problematic. When I say those words, I mean stuff like: “We are all human.”

We feel emotions, we breathe, we bleed, we make mistakes. No one is any more or less important or valuable than anyone else.

Even though autìstes are accused of being too literal, I see it from too many normies for it to be an us thing (probably projection again), because:

People who hindsight armchair quarterback abusive situations they did not experience, understand, or have any context for?

People who have expectations of your writing on the basis of nothing, and feel compelled to tell you which topics to steer clear of and make it a point to leave in a huff?

People who hate an artist they loved, because they expressed an opinion about something (which their music also does)?

I’m not innocent. I was guilty of thinking, if I was able to run away from home and end up with a tech job, couldn’t anyone?

Hey, maybe that’s how I lost it all. Rude, but who knows?

Not everyone is wired like me, and (whispers loudly) I was being exploited for assets I didn’t even realize I had at that job. I’m flexible, resilient and often tireless. I have Viking ancestry, lol.

When I left home, I wasn’t pregnant, rebelling, addicted to drugs, running away with someone or off to party. Like many, I was leaving abuse, but not all abuse is the same, they tend to customize that sort of thing. Mine featured neglect and parentification. I was dragged through enough religions, but was never consistently told what I may think or who I must believe. I raised myself and my younger brother.

Someone with similar childcare experience, raised in a strict religious sect with limited education probably could not say the same.

Someone I know had a family member “homeschooling” her daughters which basically meant “free childcare”; they are being educated to be a wives and mothers. I read at a 4th grade level in kindergarten, and took bookkeeping at the voctech instead of returning for my senior year because my mother kept trying to have the police grab me at school, by reporting me missing repeatedly when I only left once. My sincere gratitude to the counselor who snuck me out, was not to bring my trashy family situation back to their affluent school.

I just remembered I home-schooled myself in second grade, because my mother didn’t get along with my teacher, Ms. Killeen, whom she called a witch. It was through the Seventh Day Adventist Little Red School, we visited exactly twice to pick up and drop off workbooks. I completed that school year in about 3 months of half days, and babysat in the afternoons for a neighbor. We played Sesame Street Fever records. What was I, 7? What’s weird is I went back to the same school for the next grade and went to the older grades for reading. If I was smart enough to go to the next highest grade for reading, it seems like they could have just stuck me in there? Oh well, I climbed trees and read and got more time to play out in the snow. It all worked out.

So if you hold the view of:

I managed, what’s their problem?

If I work hard and scrape by, anyone should be able to.

They must be lazy bums.

Let’s not forget projection is a thing, these meanies may in fact be lazy bums.

Either way, they are happiest blaming others without much analysis.

And it’s going to burn their toast to think imaginary lazy people are going to benefit somehow.

They were misinformed and misdirected, to keep the proletariat divided.

Just as part of the population is raised to obey without question (yikes!), while another is taught to question authority. Of the latter, some are spinning with analysis paralysis (yikes!).

Pro tip: When a fascist is shitting on The Constitution, cancel the focus group, eat the deposit on the box lunches, and fucking fight it instead of trying to scheme how to position yourself in the aftermath.

So while technically true, we are fundamentally the same, all human, it is apparently too vague and imprecise for some. Yikes!

Things are not as binary as people take comfort in believing. We are being shown this in many ways. People became accepting enough of diversity to begin to even the playing field for everyone. Alphabet family’s rights gained more respect. We are all more aware of trans-folk than we were a couple decades ago.

Unfortunately, primarily through scapegoating and bullying to rile up the haters of others.

And now, we have two political parties acting like children, with the real fighters, elected or not, coming together without regard to party, to oppose the hot mess the children made for us to clean up.

Oh, and the child “in charge” is a nazi, so there’s that. The requisite awful things are happening as the result of an undemocratic election rigged by his best bootlicking buddies, who also stand to benefit from the oppression of others.

Here’s the kicker, the rich could have continued to benefit for generations if they weren’t so impatient with their greed. Corporations already making record profits don’t need to lock down employee wages. They choose to. If they can afford to buy back their stocks, and give ungodly compensation to every asshole who fails up to a C-level position, they have plenty of money to pay their employees.

Just like the US has plenty of money. The military gets it all. The same assholes telling us to budget out of impossible financial circumstances are spending billions to fight other country’s wars, engage in genocide, and build fucking concentration camps, while burying us in debt, and tanking the country’s credit rating.

Capitalism is like a virus. Corporations are beholden to stock holders, not the communities they reside in. With only meager child support as income, I pay a higher tax rate than either the business, or the people profiting off it without lifting a finger. I enriched a former richest man in the world and his stock holders. Sorry about that.

I’m just over doing the “useless” job of raising amazing humans, who will neither devour nor be devoured by this fucked up system. While having my income punitively imputed for putting them first. Don’t mind me.

I’m useless because I’m not making someone else money right now. Make no mistake, I am doing the only work that really matters.

I’m nobody to most, but the only safe parent my children have. It’s going to take a bit to unwind the damage that has been done by failure at every level to protect, advocate, or even consider them. And I’m going to take all of the fucking time they need from me, so they don’t end up all fucked up like Captain Impeachable over it.

Accountability would have been cheaper and safer.

So all of the corporations and military technical industrial complex bros would have continued making vast amounts of money, buying new tits for their trophy wives with reckless abandon, without any of this very expensive, violent, cruel, and stupid nonsense.

Is there some race for all the money I’m not aware of? What’s the prize? Is there some reason they can’t just fuck off to an Island (not trafficking children) and just exist without making everyone else miserable? Nope!

How many sets of clothes or homes or yachts can anyone need? Why should their children and the next eleventeen generations be denied the benefits of hard work and sacrifice they seem to expect from everyone else, just because they fell out of a monied cunt?!

Delayed gratification is not their strong suit.

They’ve overplayed their hand and shown us exactly who they are.

We should be grateful they are so impulsive and stupid, so it can be stopped sooner. While people can still read.

It stands to reason those with accountability scotch guard, inclined to blame others, would also be inclined to look to others for answers.

If they are lucky, and that person is a mentor with their best interests at heart, they may get some constructive criticism.

Those who prey on the the lost are more than happy to affirm, suggest, or outright tell them who to hate:

Incels: Hate women! (that will help!)

Honkeys: Hate brown people!

MAGA: Hate everyone! (we’ll just shake you up and point you at someone)

And I mean, everyone claims to care about children, but nothing says I hate kids quite like being given no rights or consideration at all, including time to bond with their family when they are born, assuming everyone survives delivery.

Rights aren’t fucking valentines to be selectively distributed. We are ALL born with them. If you think someone else deserves a harsher life or fewer rights because they aren’t you, congratulations, you are a fucking fascist.

I don’t worship false idols or celebrities (everyone poops) but a lot of people sure the fuck seem to. Why people believe the lies of various cults leaders claiming to have the answers is beyond me. But I’m me.

They don’t know more, they see weaknesses to exploit, like hopelessness, loneliness, despair, desperation, and fear.

They seem to want a grown-up, in part to make the hard decisions, but mostly to have someone else to blame for them when they don’t like the results. A LOT of people aren’t too keen on accountability for THEMSELVES.

Mistakes were made.

Guess what sunshine? Beyond a certain age, we make every decision, including who to delegate our decision-making authority to. You’re still it, but as special bonus, that part of your brain has had some time to atrophy. It’s a lose-lose situation.

It’s always about control.

Seek information everywhere, and guidance from those you trust. Then put on your thinking cap, decide for yourself, and enjoy the spoils or consequences.

If you trust no one or everyone, challenge yourself to dissect why.

Speaking of control, people become defensive when another meat puppet starts grabbing for their strings, presuming to tell them what they may think, say, or do. People are not receptive when they are defensive. Then we accuse them of being difficult or unreasonable.

Just like schools ignoring neglect, abuse, and trauma, only to punish children for their natural reaction for “behavior problems”.

Here’s the reason revulsion is a pretty fair response:

Universal laws are the only “real” ones to concern yourself with. Just following those is sufficient to steer clear of breaking any just law.

The justice in our system is as fake as Meg Ryan’s orgasms. We are being shown in technicolor by fascists, racists, pedophiles, substance abusers, and tv personalities, with most ticking multiple categories. It feels like a nightmare because it is.

The SchoolHouse Rock generation thought we had democracy, freedom, and were a melting pot of diverse immigrants. We were taught (some) about our shameful past and understood while it could never be undone or fully repaired, we could keep making strides to improve and prevent it from repeating.

Now I’m waiting to get arrested for wearing my, “I’m just a Bill” t-shirt.
